There was a Recycling Fashion Show at Mfuleni Technical Academy hosted by the learners in the Environmental School on the 1st of November 2024.
The Recycling Fashion Show was done to create awareness on the importance of recycling and to promote sustainability. There were learners who designed clothing items from the recycled materials (plastic, paper, cardboard and tin), others modelled the items made, while others spoke about the importance of recycling and how to use recyclable materials.
Present was Lilo Mxaka (EMG), Miss Anga Mpopiya (Teacher) as well as the staff and learners at Mfuleni Technical Academy.
